Another cool aspect is that you can't wait forever to pick a safe moment to cross. After a few moments of not moving, a pick-up truck will appear and drag you away when it reaches the intersection. This creates a clear element of urgency that the gameplay itself couldn't induce it otherwise.

The money you make will go into buying faster and/or more roomy vehicles. It goes up to tanks and other wacky transportation. What's more interesting is that you can also unlock up to three extra tracks. These are a somewhat arid landscape with train tracks, a middle eastern area in the process of 'democratization' and a busy airport.
